About Highland Hotel
Peacefully set in its own grounds with lovely views over the colourful village square which is just steps away, this chateau style hotel's traditional features have been carefully retained to strike just the right Highland note! A warm welcoming feeling comes as much from its friendly staff as from the fine wood panelled public rooms which have been carefully preserved. Strathpeffer is an attractive Highland spa resort with fabulous Victorian architecture. The massive peak of Ben Wyvis is the backdrop to this charming village. It's a perfect base from which to explore Scotland's dramatic Northern Highlands - mountainous countryside, sparkling streams, waterfalls and golden shores.

Well Organised Hotel
This was our first trip to the Highlands we found the Hotel organisation was excellent, staff very friendly, evening entertainment was great. There was no slacking from the staff in the dining room terrific service. Really enjoyed our stay. The only down side was the bathrooms were in dire need of renovation with showers installed ?

We have stayed in many Shearings hotels over the years, the Highland has to be one of the best. The staff are efficient and friendly. The meals and service are very good. The rooms are clean. No complaints from us. Excellent value for money.

Fab Holiday
I have just returned from spending a week at this holiday with my dad and family, the hotel was lovely except the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade, the staff were excellent as was the food the entertainment was very good and the tours were brilliant which was made all the more interesting because of the coach/courier Colin Jones who knew so much about the places we visited, also he had a lovely friendly manner which put everyone at ease I would recommend this holiday to anyone.

Well Organised Holiday
At last we have found time to write a comment on our holiday to Strathpeffer. This was in September last year. We found the food and service very good with a choice of courses to choose from. We also noticed the restaurant manager and hotel manager were always present somewhere and you could have a chat with them. Our bedroom had been refurbished and was clean. A very good holiday. And a top class driver to top it .excellent value.

Great service
Many thanks to all the staff at the Highland Hotel for again making us so welcome for the annual Strathpeffer Bridge Congress. Such a nice hotel, always top service from very friendly staff, who have certainly contributed to the reputation of the congress as one of the friendliest and most enjoyable events on the bridge calendar. We're already looking forward to the 20th congress next year!
